Advanced Testing and Feature Integration

Energy Analysis and Dashboard Progress

May 16, 2025

Urban and Suburban Field Tests

This week, we carried out tests across suburban, urban, and high-density urban contexts. These diverse environments allowed us to assess the system’s performance in real conditions, identifying how different surroundings influence energy behaviour and data collection. The findings are informing key adjustments to improve overall reliability and usability.

Energy Data Integration

We made progress in our energy analysis by combining historical datasets with current field measurements. This dual approach enhances the accuracy of our assessments and ensures the dashboard displays meaningful, real-time insights grounded in long-term trends.

Dashboard Improvements

Development of the dashboard continued, with updates focused on visual clarity and the incorporation of the newly collected data. These enhancements are aimed at improving both the user experience and the analytical potential of the platform.

Scale Model and 3D Component

We have completed the construction of the scaled physical model, which will serve as a support tool in the final presentation. It already includes the 3D-printed component of the base station (BS), allowing for a clearer understanding of the prototype’s functioning.

Video Script and Recording

Work on the video deliverable also moved forward. A first version of the script was drafted, and new scenes were filmed to document our process and progress.

Next Steps

In the coming week, we’ll continue developing the prototype and maquette, refine the dashboard, and focus on editing the video.
