Initial Project Proposal

The Initial Project Proposal outlines the foundation of our project within the ElectroCap program. It defines the challenge we aim to solve, technologies we will use, and key objectives to be achieved. It also provides a detailed problem statement, identifies the stakeholders affected, and describes the intended approach to addressing it. Additionally, it establishes the evaluation metrics that will measure the project's success.

Intermediate Presentation

The Intermediate Presentation provides a mid-program update on our project’s progress. Expanding on the Initial Project Proposal, it reviews the current status, achieved results, and the functional prototype, including updates to the project webpage. It also details the proof of concept components, challenges faced, and any deviations from the original schedule. Additionally, it highlights team contributions and presents a corrected timeline.

Pitch-Deck

The Pitch Deck is a concise and compelling presentation that summarizes our project for stakeholders. It clearly defines the problem we address, the solution we propose, and how our product stands out in the market. It outlines the target audience, analyzes key competitors, and introduces the team. It also showcases achieved results, details the contributions of each member, and evaluates the costs and benefits of implementation.

Video

The Demonstration Video is a short, 3-minute presentation showcasing our solution in action. It provides a clear and engaging overview of the project, highlighting its purpose, functionality, and key features.Through a combination of real-world footage and visual explanations, the video demonstrates how our system works, the achieved results, and its impact on energy efficiency for mobile networks. This serves as a final showcase of our work, making the project accessible to a broader audience.

Poster

A high-level visual summary of the project, outlining its goals, beneficiaries, prototype description, and key findings. Designed for communication at events like ElectroDay and academic exhibitions.

Additional Materials

Interview Analysis

A synthesis of insights from industry experts, researchers, and students on the feasibility, value, and challenges of implementing sustainable energy in telecom infrastructure. Includes SWOT and VRIO analysis, technical and business perspectives, and academic relevance.

Energy and Financial Analysis

Excel-based projections comparing the potential energy production from solar and wind sources across Portuguese districts. Includes cost-efficiency metrics, base station distribution, and estimated energy coverage per region.

System Code Documentation

Overview of the software developed to manage data collection and communication within the monitoring system. It describes how the microcontroller connects to a local network, gathers data from sensors, and transmits this information in real time to a WebSocket server.
